Last updated: 11 August 2026

Atlantic Technical Solutions (ATS, we, us or our) respects the privacy of people who contact us, request quotations, upload supporting documents or use this website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and how you can contact us about it.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors to the ATS website, people who submit contact enquiries, people who request quotes, suppliers, customers and authorised representatives who communicate with ATS through the website.

This website is intended for business, transport, construction, industrial and equipment-support enquiries. It is not intended for children.

2. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including:

- name and surname;
- company name;
- email address;
- phone number;

- make, model, registration number or serial number where supplied;
- location or preferred service date;
- enquiry, quote request and job description details;
- uploaded photographs, documents or supporting files;

- correspondence and follow-up information relating to enquiries, quotes and work requests.

We may also collect limited technical information when you use the website, including:

- browser user agent;
- referrer information where provided by the browser;
- date and time of website activity;
- security, spam-prevention and rate-limiting signals.

ATS does not intentionally collect payment card details through the public website forms.

3. How we use information

ATS uses information for legitimate business and operational purposes, including to:

- respond to enquiries;
- assess and process quote requests;
- contact you about equipment, service requirements or supporting documents;
- prepare quotations, job scopes and service records;
- manage customer, quotation and enquiry history;
- send relevant administrative or service communications;
- protect the website against spam, abuse, automated submissions and security threats;
- maintain audit, security and operational records;
- measure basic website usage with first-party analytics;
- comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax, insurance, dispute-resolution and record-keeping obligations.

4. Uploaded documents and images

If you upload photos, documents or other files, only provide material that is relevant to the enquiry or quote request and that you are authorised to share. Uploaded customer files are stored outside the public web root where the website requires private storage. Access to customer uploads is restricted to authenticated authorised users in the ATS administration area.

Do not upload passwords, banking credentials, identity documents or other sensitive personal information unless ATS specifically asks for it and it is necessary for the requested work.

5. Website analytics and cookies

ATS uses first-party website analytics to understand which pages are used and to improve the website. The analytics implementation avoids storing raw IP addresses by using hashed values for visitor, session and IP identifiers.

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for:

- normal website and session operation;
- CSRF protection and form security;
- first-party analytics;
- admin authentication and security;
- remembering authenticated admin sessions where enabled;
- spam and human-verification controls.

Public business forms may use security controls such as CSRF protection, honeypot fields, timing checks, rate limiting and Cloudflare Turnstile or equivalent human-verification services. These controls help protect ATS and website visitors from abuse.

6. Sharing information

ATS does not sell personal information. We may share information only where reasonably necessary, including with:

- hosting, email, storage, security, analytics and technical service providers that support this website or ATS operations;
- employees, contractors or service partners who need the information to respond to a request or perform authorised work;
- professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, auditors or legal advisers;
- authorities, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where required by law or where necessary to protect rights, safety, security or property.

Some technology providers may process or store information outside Namibia. Where this occurs, ATS uses reputable providers and limits the information shared to what is necessary for the service.

7. Security

ATS uses administrative, technical and operational safeguards intended to protect enquiry, quote, upload and account information. These include access controls, private storage for customer uploads where appropriate, validation, rate limiting, audit logging and authentication controls for privileged users.

No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe information submitted to ATS has been accessed or used improperly, contact ATS promptly using the contact details published on this website.

8. Retention

ATS keeps information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries, preparing or managing quotes, completing work, maintaining business records, handling disputes, meeting legal or accounting obligations and protecting the website.

Records may be retained for longer where required by law, tax, insurance, audit, warranty, contractual or dispute-resolution purposes. Information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymised or archived in line with operational requirements.

9. Your choices and requests

You may contact ATS to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that ATS holds about you, subject to verification, legitimate business requirements and applicable legal obligations.

You may also ask ATS to stop using your contact details for non-essential communications. ATS may still retain and use information where necessary to manage a request, quote, contract, invoice, legal obligation, security issue or dispute.

10. Accuracy of information

Please provide accurate and complete information when submitting forms. If your contact details, equipment details or quote requirements change, notify ATS so records and responses can be updated.

11. Third-party links

This website may link to third-party websites or services. ATS is not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of third-party websites. Review their own privacy notices before using them.

12. Updates to this policy

ATS may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version published on this website applies from the date shown above.
